Gestational Health

Improving access to gestational healthcare in South Sudan is essential for reducing elevated infant and maternal morbidity and mortality rates. Under-educated women and their children are dying from preventable perinatal complications such as diarrhea, lack of access to skilled birth attendants and obstetric care, lack of access to safe obstetric delivery kits for traditional midwives, inadequate insecticide-treated nets, respiratory infection and malaria.
